Anyone run a Maxspect Gyre?

So... I want to play with the lunar tide setting, but in my 39 gallon tank I only run one Gyre-
The book shows two Gyres alternating... will this setting work for me?

I love my gyre, using a 230 for my 120 gallon. the cube doesnt have good length so it maybe over killed
