Anyone seen this UPS delay type before?

So I have a shipment coming, luckily it’s dry goods, but it’s been indefinitely delayed. The type of delay is nothing I’ve seen before from UPS. I’m in no rush for the package, just looking at getting other people’s experiences

Yep, I've had this a few times especially during winter or bad weather along the delivery route.

Coldest day in AZ... Weather here in Ohio has been nice I wouldn't think they could blame it on that.

I have had it happen No mention of weather. Weather here in Ohio is perfect right now. It's "operating conditions" which could mean anything. To me it meens oops we screwed up but are not going to admit it.

Really sad part is they've still been more reliable than FedEx, at least in my area.

UPS is way better than FedEx in my area. There is a hurricane in the gulf about to make landfall in FL, and move up thru GA and SC, but that shouldnt effect AZ to OH....

The sad part is my dry goods I ordered from Canada are likely to make it here (by UPS no less) before those in AZ.

UPS dominates my area. You may see one fedex truck for every 3 or 4 UPS trucks. That said, I’ve never had an issue with any of them

This. I've never had great luck with Fedex after working for them and living in a few different large metro areas (Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles).

Had a package out of CA that went through AZ and showed up yesterday. It was delayed with Hillary. I think operations halted a bit and created a back up/delay that is a rolling issue until they catch up.

FEDEX is horrible and every time I see a company using FEDEX I just have it held at the FEDEX center and go retrieve it myself

Ya they accidentally forgot the package on the dock :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: I've had these delays happen too many times to be accident as in vehicle accidents /crash.
To be fair tho I couldn't even imagine what it takes to process all the packages they do and do it efficiently as they do most of the time.
