Curious of your experience.

I've had my 800-24B on my 92 Gallon Corner Bowfront reef for a few months now and it's my first experience with LEDs... Not sure how it stacks up against what else is out there...

Any and all info is greatly apprecaited!

Thanks!

for the price? I bought 2 LED's fully programmable that are full spectrum for half the price .... oh and my LEDs are 3watts instead of 1 .... check out Reef Radiance - Home .... i love these lights and great customer service!

Don't get 1w leds, especially at those prices! Check out OceanRevive (as sponsor here on R2R). They have their own leds and also sell EverGrow fixtures (the best manufacturer in China).

Thanks guys! I bought my 800-24B back in Late June and have been really happy with it.
It's a really slick looking unit. I knew there were less expensive options out there but I was concerned about the "you get what you pay for" thing....

Plus I was having a hard time deciding on a fixture that would work well on a 92 Gallon Corner Bowfront and the guys at Acan Lighting had two of this very set up running and kicking butt!

I was just curious of other people's opinions that had used their 800 series as well as other systems and how they compared...

And from what I've read, it's not just about raw wattage with LED. I had to turn this unit down to 60% because it was frying stuff that had just been under a 150W HQI/14K and at half the depth....
