I was born in the 60's and throughout the years I have enjoyed the board game Monopoly, as I am sure most of you have as well. Hasbro has announced a new version of this game. I have seen many version over the years and all of them still had a good respectable theme to the games.

The new version is called Monopoly Cheaters edition where its encouraged to cheat such as take extra money there is no banker everyone is their own banker just don't get caught. Is this what we really want to teach our kids it is ok to do whatever you need to do as long as you win? I am truly disappointed in the way corporate America is heading. Like the title says Anything for a dollar.

It's more accurate to real world investors now.

But really where do we draw the line on morality in games? In poker bluffing is part of the game. In parlor games, such as mafia, outright lying is part of the game.

'Cheating' isn't cheating if its within the rules.

I think I will go shoplift me a copy. Looks fun.

Pick up 2 if you would please. I'm getting too old to run from store security but I'm not necessarily against receiving stolen goods;Jawdrop (j/k)

I still remember my coach trying to get me to fake getting fouled back in my water polo days, and was like why, we're winning w/out me cheating?
It blows it for me...

Monopoly should remain like the good ol days, a 12 hour honest commitment!
