Title says it all. Looking to light a rimless tank that is the same size as a standard 75 gallon. The 360s are a tiny bit cheaper, but not really enough to be a factor. My main concern is spread. It seems like I could spread the 360s a little further apart to get better spread.

Not to hijack this thread but I also love the hydra hd and have 2 26s' over my tank. What program are you currently running jsker? I found one I just uploaded today, hoping it works out.

I switched from the old kessils 350's and 150's, they were great lights but I needed control-ability and was due to upgrade, price played a factor and I have heard enough good things about AI that I figured it was a good time to take the leap. It all came down to price for me

Really you can up load light settings? I just played around with my setting and run the light on auto after tweaking my colors and %. I am running at about 35 watts not to burn everything up. PM so we will not be hijacking the thread:)

Yes you can but only from your PC can't do it from the app. Here's how mine looks, no way I could accomplish this by myself. This was downloaded from another forum.

Now I'm only speaking from what I have read online, but it seems that the ap700 is lacking. To get good spread it needs to be around 20" above the water level, but then thus kills any par needed to keep sps. If it were me I would just use 2 360's and call it a day. Plus the 360's are apex ready (if you have a apex) and the ap700 is not

My whole reasoning behind kessil was that I have heard and read from several people that they offer the closest look to MH because of their dense matrix array. I really like the shimmer from a MH, but wanted to give LED a try.

That is another reason I like my light that I have now, the shimmer on the water.

I have a AP700 I really like how much power the light can put out and the spread is amazing. I had the maxspect Razor and liked it a lot but this new kessil is amazing! the only down side is the programming software is new and is a little hard to get used to but after messing around with it I made everything look the way I like it. I really enjoy the light and from what i heard there are a lot of updates coming to it to make it even better.

I am using two Kessil 360we over a 75. I like the two individual lights better than the larger single light fixture ,it just adds more flexibility in the light system as far as positioning goes.
