1) i want it to be via ethernet but at present the router is to far to do that so just wifi for now, is it ok?
2)can i do all the updating at router wired first then install in the location and set up wifi
3) Honestly are there still bugs with this

1) yes
2) you don’t need to be hooked up to a router for updating. The new apex is super easy to set up and run. I did it via WiFi
3)I have not run into a single issue since having it... but then again I’ve only had it hooked up for a month or so

You don’t need to be hooked up to a router at all for anything.. I’ve done updating, configured modules and made codes all from my cell phone via WiFi. So much better then the apex classic imo
