I have been getting the following alarm all night.

Status: ON
Statement: If Swx4_2 CLOSED Then ON

It has something to do with my ATK program that I set up a few days ago, but this alarm only started last night.

Is that the high level switch? I renamed mine to make things a little easier. I actually turned the alarm off on the high level. Only time I get an atk alarm now is when it runs too long when my res gets low

It must be the high alarm, but why is it engaging so frequently? Every hour since midnight.

If it is your sumps water line just may resting on the high sensor. Move the atk up if you need too...

Once in alarm, it will "re-alarm" every hour until condition is met that makes it not in alarm anymore, if that makes sense.

Is the high level sensor optical? If so, I have had a couple fail on me - in both cases they got 'stuck' closed. Something to check if there is no other explanation.

1st question when I see a high water alarm is "Is the anti-siphon break installed?"

2nd is "Is the ATK on Auto or ON?"

Does apex have an anti siphon? I'll have to check the box.

It's on auto

Ok. Found the siphon break. Just a coupling with a hole drilled in it.

That must have been the issue.

I leave the high alarm off. Things like feed mode or skimmer being off can cause that switch to close which can also give you frequent alarms

I did have one of the optical sensors fail within the first couple of months. Neptune was very fast at sending a replacement once I was able to provide them with a photo of moisture in it

Hopefully that doesn't happen. I actually don't use feed mode. My return pump is finiky when it is turned off. Sometimes it stays off until you shake it. I'll be upgrading to a COR20 soon.

Pretty sure my issue was actually the suphon break.

Just saying IMO alarm is not necessary for the ATK high level sensor. If anything I would probably add an additional optical sensor higher in the sump and hook it to the FMM and have that set with an alarm

Is the siphon break supposed to shoot a stream of water out everytime the pump turns on?
