I have a screen top. The pellets I feed can fit between the holes in the screen. I have mounted my AFS on my light rack and it drops pellets on and thru the screen.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

It appears that I took the pic sideways but the afs is mounted on the top the acrylic light rack holding the Radions.

I have a canopy so I can't mount it like that, I guess I can try to mount it upside down and see what it does
