I just got my hands on a new A2 model control head only (No EB832) from a reefer that's gotten out. I'm planning to use my existing EB8's/EB4's with the newer A2 controller. Any gotchas I'm going to encounter with the 'upgrade'? I'm going to use my existing PH & ORP probes along with the janky salinity probe. I got plenty of USB (ahem aquabus) cables lying around. Anything else I should purchase or have on hand for this swapping debacle. I know it will be programming hell with outlets, but I'm prepped for that.

Any advice, suggestions or don't fix what ain't broken help is appreciated!

I would make sure to save a copy or print out the summary of your current configuration so you have it to refer back to while setting up the new one. You can print or save to pdf from Apex fusion. I do not know if you can save it from the app. I don't really like the "adopt data" option, I see a lot of people having issues going that route.

I have a printed config summary. Learned the hard way after a near bricking incident after a module upgrade some years ago.

Glad to hear that you didn't have any issues.
It wasn't bad @ all. Now I know about a lot of fusion stuff I didn't see due to having apex classics for years. There are several "small" differences, but nada crazy. I only needed to update the head and fmm module.
