I am getting an Apex. I saw a video from Neptune showing that a fire table was a good option for a display. It was a couple of years old. I have read some post were some people have had problems with using fire tables. I am looking at getting the 10" not ad supported. It is on sale for prime day. Would this be the best option.

I used a fire tablet and had no issues. I ended up using my phone more so now my kids have another tablet

What I was thinking is mounting it next to the tank so I can see parameters when I walk by. I would still like to use my phone to make changes. Can I do both or do I need to pick one or the other?

This is my cabinet I have an apex jr. wired into. I have a Fire 7 in. tablet that I use to just monitor the temp., etc. and that is just sitting on a tablet stand. I use the tablet mainly as a display while using my phone to do the coding and adjustments. You can't use the app on the kindle fire tablet but the website is just as good and updates in real time so it is really no different. BRS did a video on using the kindle fire tablet for this purpose. I really like it and I'd say its worth getting.
