Apex doesn't reconnect after losing power

From your apex lcd screen, hit the center button. Select system. Next select Net Setup. You will likely see "DHCP On". Press the middle button to turn off. This will force your apex to try and connect with whatever it's current address is everytime.
Next scroll down to IP addess. You'll see a number like 192.168.0.11 (yours will be slightly different). Write this number down. That's the easy part. The next part is wholly dependant on the model of router you have. You need to log into the router and tell it to assign that ip address a static lease.
A Web search of your router model should find instructions of how to do that. If you can't find what you need to do that, or get stuck, pm me, and I'll see if I can walk you through it.

For a LONG time mine did this. I went to net setup and checked the dhcp was on and clicked restart on net setup. Haven't had an issue since.

Hi there,

It's my experience that what works best is to find the Mac address of the Apex in your router, assign a static IP to that Mac address and then set your Apex to match. This is what's been working for our customers and on my personal system as well.

This method locks the IP on both sides of the equation, meaning, the router and Apex are both set exactly the same so there is no chance that you will run into IP conflicts later on. I hope this helps.
