I only have pumps, heater, skimmer, and gyres on eb832... I havent even plugged in my lights yet... is this normal energy consumption or do I need to recalibrate the eb832? Im running a 300 gallon frag system in a room solely for my hobby.

Did you enter the correct cost per kWh from your electric bill?

If so, then yes. That’s What it costs based on that days usage. If you use less heater, that will go down significantly.

Sometimes dropping tank temp from 79 to 76 can save hundreds a year and the fish or corals don’t care.
