I’m helping out a friend who’s eb8 stopped working. The fan pulled in salty air and caused a short in the 24v supply. I replaced the thermistor and replaced the burnt trace with a wire. While checking out the eb832 I’m putting a load on the aquabus and the voltage looks low I replaced the buck converter but the voltage is still low. here are some data points.
000 ma 12.66v
100 ma 11.53v
150 ma 11.27v
200 ma 11.25v
250 ma 11.20v
300 ma 11.07v
I would expect it to be above 12v up to 400ma. Does anyone know the values of the resistors and capacitors feeding the buck converter? Or are these values normal I don’t want to replace the 12v supply if this can’t be fixed

thanks

Mike

You've probably already watched my repair video, but just in case:

You'd need to check the 100uf capacitor on the 12v rail. A very common failure point on the EB832.

What size is the capacitor smd 603? The capacitor you are referring to is c25 next to the buck converter correct?
And yes I have watched many of your repair videos.

I don't remember the markings, but it's an electrolytic cap on the other side of the board.
