apex email not working.

ok.. so i have an apex.. just got it installed. firmware 4.12_5A12. i setup the email first i used gmail second i opened a gmx account.. neither are working.. any ideas? also i have noticed that if i reboot the unit it goes back to dhcp on.. is that suppose to stay at off?

What are your settings for your mail servers? Go to configuration, network, and tell us what you have for the AquaController Email Setup.

Sorry, missed your post.

Gmail is likely not allowing you to relay off their mail servers. Do you have a local ISP that has email? You can generally use their servers to relay from since they'll be accepting mail from the IP addresses they own (ie - your public IP address)

For example, my small town ISP is Bardstown Cable, so I relay off of smtp.bardstowncable.net.

ok.. so this is now working.. all of a sudden.. with gmx.. even though i had tried it before.. thanks
