I would take huge advantage that it Tracks your manual test results, maintenance, livestock purchases, and tank observations and helps you can correlate issues in your aquarium to the things that are happening inside.

I'm in the same boat extremely tight budget and not to mention the standard apex system in. Australia is around $1300

I like that I can check my tank via my phone, worldwide. The all-in-one component controller's constant monitoring of my equipment and parameters via Wi-Fi even during internet downtime gives me peace of mind. I like being able to have accessibility during power outages and phone alerts when things go awry with the tank. Thank you Neptune for a superb product.
