Hello I have my leak detector set up as the pictures show below. (It’s the one titled LeakUV). It sits outside the tank around my UV and external skimmer. It’s set to turn off the skimmer or UV in case of water detected.

Well the skimmer has overflowed twice in the past week and even though the sensor trips it doesn’t turn off the skimmer. It also doesn’t send me a notification that it tripped. I get alert that other things have happened with the apex but nothing from this.

I’ve contacted Neptune support twice now with no reply. First one was 6 business days ago. (2nd time was just this morning so that doesn’t count haha)

Thats strange about the skimmer. The fusion dashboard has a slight lag to it since it's cloud based. I would just test it by putting a damp rag over the sensor points to see if the skimmer turns off and if/when the leak slider moves.

Go to the FMM Module configuration, and make sure the 4 ports are set to the correct type of FMM type too. If its not set to a leak detector, it make be "misunderstanding" the input.

Regarding the alarm, you need to have a line in the email alarm channel that says
"If LEAKUV Closed Then ON"

I’m using the external FMM. I have 2 others hooked up to it that trigger well
Does the fmm show any pending updates in the module window.

First and easiest thing I’d start with to debug is simply restart the base and all modules. Going to the wrench symbol and going all the way down to the reboot option.

Second confirm the right option is selected. It should be water on floor not optical even if you have the orange optical leak sensor.

Third I would delete the two closed lines. Save and the. Add back.

Fourth as a side test I would put the uv closed line in the Alarm outlet (not email in this test case) as the only line. Then Trip the sensor. If you don’t hear an audio tone coming from the base unit. Not sensing it.

5th if non of that works would try swapping the aquabus cable.

So to your test, I tried all of them no luck haha. I also triggered the “mosof” sensor and that did shut it down and send the email alert.

What happens if you try using another port. Also double check you don’t have any duplicated outlet/module names. Have seen the apex behave oddly when that happens.

what’s the last line in your configuration? Usually you’ll want it to be like if leak closed then skimmer off. And if leak closed then uv off. Like my optical sensor is lowato. If it gets low it shuts my ato pump off
