Can anyone tell me how to unlock these so that I can turn them on and off individual?

those lines all the way to the right, flick them to the left. On the phone app it has a security device that you have to open (by flicking to the left) so you don't accidently turn something on and off. You can turn this feature off in the settings but I would not recommend that
