I'm new with the controller part of the hobby I just bought a reek keeper light with sl1 box and it's working. But I've heard apex is better I found one for $100 a apex jr my question is if I get the apex jr can i add more modules I can also get a eb8 for cheap can I use the eb8 on the jr any help is appreciated

Yes you can add a EB8 to your apex junior, no issue there.
