Im getting ready to start my first reef. Still getting all the equipment together and doing my research. Ive been seeing some apex lites on ebay for around 250-300 would this be worth buying?
What are the differences in the apex lite and the apex classic?
And will i run into any issues buying a discontinued model?

Thanks

Watch the classifieds. Apex classics go up for sale every week for less than $300. Just picked up one on here for $250 in mint condition.

Here is a pic of my newly installed apex classic. This is going to go into a separate cabinet. Just haven't had time to do it yet.
