Apex newbie here, I have an apex classic. Plan to buy the an apex auto feeder, is it compatible?

Great, just plug in the aquabus cable and it connects right?
You'll have to confirm connection via Fusion page and set feed schedule

You can do the basic setup through the AFS task in Fusion. However, if you want to coordinate the AFS with shutting down pumps and skimmer during feeding, see my tutorial on Apex Feed Cycles for example programming:
