Does the Apex read procedurally (top to bottom) or does it matter? thinking about it now it's probably a stupid question .. but it would be nice to know. I want my ATO to first check FMM_2 if open then move on to FMM_1. if FMM_1 is open then turn on the pump

Example:

ATO (version 1)
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
IF FMM_1 OPEN Then ON
If FMM_2 Closed Then off
Defer 000:01 Then ON

ATO (Version 2)
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
IF FMM_2 Closed Then Off
If FMM_1 OPEN Then ON
Defer 000:01 Then ON

Or set on
And have fmm 1 and 2 closed then off if you need both of them to be open to turn on

Your version 1 is the better of your 2 choices.
Version2 will only depend on fmm1
