Is there a way to tap a single button to turn off pumps, wave pumps, skimmer, heater and chiller for a water change? Right now I have to tap them off individually and its time consuming. Id like to program a single button to shut it all off and on while im doing a water change.

Yes there is a way. I use a break out box with a “maintenance” switch. I flip the switch and it shuts everything down whenever I am doing a water change or picking out algae. Can utilize a button if you like. I have 2 buttons for feeding coral and fish. If I push fish button it shuts down system for 5 minutes and coral button is 10 minutes. Break out boxes have so many uses. I picked up a custom made one on eBay

Can you link to one of these boxes? Never heard of it. I was thinking of using the fish feed function and just trying to set the time super high so I can swap water and all but it seems a bit crude.

or use one of the feed buttons on apex fusion, program it for like 45 min or whatever it takes to do a water change, have that feed button turn off all the desired equipment and you're done

Here’s how I coded mine I actually did 20 minutes for feeding coral
I created a virtual outlet for each button since the coding only allows one timer in the code. With the virtual outlet I can choose times for each button. The last picture is what I have for my each of my Wav’s. I also have the coding in my return pump and Uv light to shut them down when I hit the button.

I never understood how to work the feed buttons. Then again I never researched thorn. I guess that is another option. I myself love gadgets to do other functions.

Im thinking this is what I will try first. Now to look up how to setup that function. Can I do this from the phone app?

I know to do it on the old apex, classic now?

Feed modes will be a hidden tile, just need to drag it out. A, B, C, D they can be programmed for time, and then reference them in any outlet.

I have a display unit on the classic, so a simple down press on the display is feedA For which I feed the fish and turn off my PH's and skimmers for an extended amount of time.
