I am trying to set up an account with reeftronics since I have no ups at the moment. the site is super confusing. Any easy instructions on how to actually do it. How do I find out what port I need to forward and get open xml for it. Also I forgot how to find out my public IP address. It is hooked up to the internet but I want a fail safe for power failure until I can get a ups. I believe this is the only way to notify when power goes out since right now it only informs me when its back on. Any help would be appreciated!

@RussM

1. How do I find out what port I need to forward and get open xml for it.
=> What question is this? "HTTP Port: (for external access from the Internet) (required)"?
I think by default port 80 is used for html, so try 80. If it does not work Russ will contact you :)
2. Also I forgot how to find out my public IP address.
=> Type on your computer browser https://www.whatismyip.com/
3. It is hooked up to the Internet but I want a fail safe for power failure until I can get a ups. I believe this is the only way to notify when power goes out since right now it only informs me when its back on
=> It will email you and since the ping and email server(s) is/are not in your area, the chance of it losing power at the same time is low very low. It can send email if you can receive on time (Hopefully the receiving notification mean is working at that time).
