Apex to Steve LED interphase

I have a Biocube 29 with the LED upgrade form Steve's LEDs. I would like to control these lights with the apex but apparently there is no off the shelf solution . Steves does sell an interphase but do not sell a cable. Apparently I need to get a cable from Neptune and wire it to their interphase. Anyone have any experience with this ?
