Berghia are the only guaranteed solution, since they are obligate eaters of Aips. They die when they run out of food, but some have pulled them as they find them after controlling the Aip issue and sell them to others with problems.

I am not going to Chat. I'll probably get with you next weekend. I will see if I can get one of the guys to ride down with me.

Nope. The last small rock I got from a friend for feeding them has some Majano's, too. They have been without food for nearly a week now (need some more small Aip rocks), but aren't touching the Majano's. I was told that it has something to do with the zoox, but not sure what.

IMO there are a few methods to rid Aiptasia , but I'll go with a sure fire one for you situation . You said you were going to put the rock in a QT and treat from there . If this is possible to remove the rock one or two at a time , all you need to do is buy a Raccoon Butterfly add him to the QT with the rocks and he will destroy them to the core , never to come back again . Just have a plan for the fish after he's done solving the problem .

personally, im never buying any aiptasia destroying products again. ive tried them all, and all it seem to do was multiply the aiptasia. from now on its natural methods. here is what worked wonders for me...... anemone hermit crab. ive used him in 4 different tanks and he destroyed ALL the aiptasia.

I've heard that from a number of people. Once you start attacking the Aip, they start reproducing more aggressively...

Hey Gary,

Paul and I are coming down to Montgomery on Saturday, I would like to get with you on some of the Berghia and possibly some of the frags that you have. Shoot me a pm with your number and what time would be best for you.

Thanks
