Whats the best way to get rid of this aptasia? Theres only 1 and its on a rock thats supporting other rocks so taking it out isnt really an option. Ive been recommended Joe’s Juice. If anyone else has experience with Joe’s Juice or any other aptasia killer plz share yiur experience/recommendations.

Note: I am not interested in buying an aptasia eating fish/slug

Joes Juice works well for a single I think. Then you have it when you need it. Just don't over do it on the application and keep an eye on the tank.

Tread carefully as your next steps will be important. I don’t want to be dramatic, but IF this is the only one, the difference between elimination and explosion is a fine line.

I know you can’t get it out on the rock, but this is the only fool proof way. If you damage it, but not kill, even with joes juice, its instinct will be to spread/release/multiply. I have been hit or miss with Joes. My rec is if you have to use any chemical, smother the best you can. Leave all pumps off until dry/solid. Basically completely entomb it. It may suck into rock, and come back. With joes, I’ve noticed it usually never completely solidifies and you will see some (dust) blowing around when you turn pumps on. This material has never bothered anything in my tank.

Dip toothbrush in peroxide and scrub aptasia away
Just my experience. I had aiptasia on a temp probe. I pulled the probe, dipped in peroxide for a minute, and then scrubbed probe with peroxide on toothbrush outside of tank. It came back a week later.... I think the issue was I only used household peroxide....

Hi, I use injection of boiling water saturated with calcium hydroxide, deep into the center of the body. Reef safe.

Kalk paste works as well as the commercial products sold and is much cheaper. Mrs wages pickling lime is cheap and available at most grocery stores.
Problem I've had is whenever I tried killing them individually in the tank they stepped up reproduction with a vengeance. I've only had luck with natural predators. I keep peppermint shrimp in my smaller tanks and have aptaisia in the sumps and overflows but none in the display.

You're doing the right thing by combating it before it get out of control.

I use the frag epoxy paste and enclose the darn pest. prevent it from seeing any light or water.

If I were to put a shot glass over it after using chamicals would that help contain them incase it starts multiplying?

Do you use a syringe to inject?

You can easily get syringes at pharmacies for TRT/insulin injection. That's what I use. Lemon juice works well also but be warned, there are many more you don't see. If there is 1, there is more.
Ahh, so thats where I can get a syringe. Ill def be on standby for if I see more aptasia

I use a standard 5ml syringe, making a solution with boiling water so that it is supersaturated, but not excessively, otherwise it won't pass through the needle

Super glue works really well for me, just fully seal it in and then even as it dies anything it releases will be trapped

I have had a lot of luck with F aiptasia. Goes on with a syringe like a thick white paste. Covers the entires thing and smothers it. When you turn on the pumps again the white stuff just blows away and it's gone.

F-aptaia, Joe's Juice, or similar. Watch videos on how to do the application properly without making the anemone jerk out of the way.

One on that little rock I'd pull the rock and deal with it outside of the tank. Take some bone cutters to that little section of rock it's on and get underneath it and get rid of it... Take action now is a good idea. Just what I'd do tho. Good luck
