An your fun begins.:) Killing aptasia can become a full time task. I have finally rid all my systems of them. only took a year to do.:)

With peppermint shrimp they work best if you do not feed the tank. So the only food they get is aptasia. Other wise they will just eat scraps left from the fish not eating something g.

I had an aptaisia issue,was nuking 12-16 a day.within a couple of days of introducing a peppermint shrimp the aptaisia vanished and has not returned. I now have 1 designated pepprmshrimp in the invert qt, it prevents those unwanted aptaisia from entering the DT wayyy more effective, I think than daily chemical management Cheers
