I have an Aqua-C EV-240. The water injection nozzle, pictured below, is a 90 degree fitting, and I need a straight fitting. The 1†braided vinyl hose I’m using will not bend within my sump/cabinet to allow a 90 degree fitting, so I must find or fabricate a straight fitting. I do not want to introduce any additional 90 degree fittings that may increase head and diminish the effectiveness of the skimmer.

Steve, with Aqua-C, is not able to provide a straight fitting without my having to reduce the size of the fitting and increase the size of my pump respectfully.

Can anyone help me to find a straight 3/4†mpt to 1†barb fitting? I can buy a separate injection nozzle piece (the clear part) from Aqua-C then adapt to any straight fitting I find.

Fingers Crossed, Jeff.

Called Greenleaf, they don't sell direct, and their distributors sell in bags of ten. They'd sell me one, but there was a ten dollar surcharge, and then shipping. I have het to try Orscheln Farm & Home, but think that may be the exact same fitting. BRS does not sell a reducing fitting. I may just have to bite the bullet and use a barbed 1" 90. Simple things can be the most difficult. Thanks Madness
