Having a hard time finding anything about this skimmer.

Aqua excell is all it says on the outside. Dc controller says it’s the 1500 pump so I am assuming is the AE-EC15. Possibly lookslike bubble magus bought them and now offers it

Anyone have /use one. Experiences?
Was going to put a octo110 on my 54g corner tank I am setting up but this looks like a better choice, size and performance by the numbers.

Testing/cleaning in vinegar. Working well

I’ve got one that looks very similar. I’ve had it for almost 2 years now with no issue. It’s been oversized with my tank but I just upgraded so it’ll really be put to the test in the next year. Only thing I’d say is it’s really finicky for setting. It’s the only skimmer I’ve owned so not sure if that’s normal or not.

Interesting!!

That is very similar. Mine has the spiral flow adjustment piece also. going to look into yours. Mine is pretty small. it is going on a 54G corner- will be about 50G total water volume after rock etc.
