I was thinking of buying some corals from them from the sale that is going on right now, I live in cali and I'm relatively close to their facility, so shipping wouldn't be an issue but I wanted to know on the quality of their corals. Is it worth it?

Their 100 dollar minimum is what has me having seconds thoughts. I wanted to buy a sun coral from them and a couple sps but I am scared of having some bad hitchhikers coming along. They refused to sell me corals I won in an action because my order was $50 but I was under $200 or something like that which they said is “policy” that you have to meet that to have them ship anything (plus shipping fee). Havnt used them since. Dont keep corals anymore though but that was my experience with them
Yeah I went through ebay, they bumped it up cause of ebay fees.Their 100 dollar minimum is what has me having seconds thoughts. I wanted to buy a sun coral from them and a couple sps but I am scared of having some bad hitchhikers coming along.

Hellfire frags usually! They are great priced and very beautiful corals. All are WYSIWYGwhere did you order your corals from after that, when you had them?

We would love it if you ordered from us! While yes, we do have a $100 minimum to ship, you may combine your auction winnings with any website purchases, if that helps reach the minimum.I was thinking of buying some corals from them from the sale that is going on right now, I live in cali and I'm relatively close to their facility, so shipping wouldn't be an issue but I wanted to know on the quality of their corals. Super glad to hear you've had a good experience with us! Hope to see you soon!I live local and shop there regularly. Never ordered online for shipping. My take is they have a lot of high quality corals ranging from small inexpensive frags to large expensive colonies. Their tanks and corals are healthy and the corals are under lights that replicate typical hobbyist lights. I’ve had great success with the livestock I’ve bought.
I do dip every coral because they have a lot of turnover so who knows what worms might hitchhike. I also remove or carefully inspect frag plugs to avoid introducing pest nems.
Most of the complaints I’ve seen about them seem to be from online purchasers and often relate to the coral not looking the same upon receipt as in the store’s picture. To the extent this is due to differences in lighting or shipping stress it would not be an issue if you’re buying in person and have your lights set similar to theirs.
I suggest going on a weekday or early morning on weekends. When it’s less crowded, they’ll take you into the back section and you can pick specific frags from their extensive inventory.
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be ordering some as soon as possible! We would love it if you ordered from us! While yes, we do have a $100 minimum to ship, you may combine your auction winnings with any website purchases, if that helps reach the minimum.
We are also here in CA and only charge 19.99 for in-state shipping.
I'll tell you what, since it's your first order and that you're a R2R member, we'll hook you up with a free gift for trying us out. Just mention this thread in an email to us ([email protected]) after you place an order and we will include a note for your order.

My first experience was exciting until I saw the condition of the coral... I spent over $500 and received crap.. half of my coral wasn't even attached to a frag plug (even though the photos clearly showed them on a frag).I was thinking of buying some corals from them from the sale that is going on right now, I live in cali and I'm relatively close to their facility, so shipping wouldn't be an issue but I wanted to know on the quality of their corals.
