Yes - ANOTHER aqua sd thread.

I ordered from them again hoping this time would be my lucky try. Nope, I’m the fool for thinking they’d actually send me healthy coral and the coral I actually paid for.

Attached are photos of what I ordered: a splatter hammer that was supposed to be at least 2”, a green ricordea, an orange ricordea, and a war paint scoly

I got: a splatter hammer that was the size of my finger nail, a blue ricordea, a bleached orange ricordea, and a dying war paint scoly

I am out hundreds of dollars and they refuse to work with me on giving me my money back. I got store credit for the hammer and ricordea, but they won’t acknowledge much about what was supposed to be my showpiece warpaint scoly. Today I got home from work to significant tissue loss on the scoly. It has been deteriorating from day one. But they just keep asking for updates and then when I show loss, they told me it was outside of the return window.

I got a phone call from Austin and was hoping to resolve this, but I have not heard back on how to proceed.

@AquaSD please help make this right.

I’m sorry to hear about this. As you mentioned, the hammer and ricordea were promptly credited to you. The hammer should open up nicely, but we definitely could have done a better job selecting the ricordea.

Regarding the scoly, while it did arrive sunken in, there were no signs of damage. Even though it appeared just closed, we still provided a partial credit to help out the situation.

Austin is off today—sorry he wasn’t able to give you a call.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention—we truly appreciate your feedback.

Hi @AquaSD . I was only credited one ricordea. I ordered two. The hammer never did open up much more. It’s still tiny and actually fell inside a crevice in a rock because of how small it is.

The scoly arrived with skeleton showing. I have sent documentation frequently to show how it has progressed to tissue loss in large sections of its main body.

Ultimately, I was sent the wrong corals and an unhealthy specimen that I wish I never bought. This was supposed to be a showpiece for my tank and I currently have it tucked away in the dark to help it heal, per your recommendations. If I wanted a sick scoly, I would have paid a discounted amount for a sick scoly. I paid for a healthy scoly that was shown in pictures.

I wish you guys would just replace the dying scoly with another one for me. Or give me a credit for the scoly. I have received NOTHING for it.

Although I appreciate your professional tone in this conversation, note that nothing else has been offered to remedy the situation I’m currently in. I still have the wrong corals and a dying scoly. Yes you gave me a small credit but I don’t intend to ever use it as I don’t plan on paying shipping and spending $100 on another new coral.

I would like a refund OR get the corals I actually ordered.

I bolded the part of your claim that is untrue. No partial credit was ever given to me for the scoly. Nor do I want a partial credit. I would like a full credit for the dying scoly I received or be resent out a new one.
