I recently had a terrible buying experience from Aqua SD on eBay. Fortunately I was able to get my money back after 2 weeks.

On 10/13, I won a few coral auctions from Aqua SD on eBay for a really good price and was sent an invoice with combined shipping for the corals. They told me that if I lived in CA, then I can purchase a shipping module on their website for a shipping which was cheaper so I did. After payment was completed, they told me they usually ship within 2 weeks which I thought was odd because their feedback mentioned "fast shipping" but okay.

Fast forward to 10/26, I messaged them back asking for an update and they told me that they were unable to ship it due to not meeting the min threshold of $100 excluding shipping, which was stated in the description and I completely missed it because I was excited to get them. Had I not messaged them, they probably wouldn't even tell me and just keep on holding my money.

The issue with this is that when they created the invoice, they 100% saw that my order was below their min threshold and failed to mention anything about it. They apologized about "no one saying anything sooner" when the person who I was messaging with on eBay was the same person who created the invoice...

I requested a cancellation and they wanted to charge a 20% restocking fee which is against eBay's policy when they have not even shipped the coral, let alone packaged it or even touched it.
Funniest thing about this is that they said it was mentioned on their website when the corals were bought off eBay with no mention of any policy in the description. Obviously when you buy something on eBay, you go based on the policy that's stated in the description and not offline on a third-party website.

Ended up getting a full refund for both the coral and shipping. I will never buy from here again. I saw the reviews of that business on here and saw some negative things but I thought I'd give them a chance. Didn't think they were this bad.

TLDR; bought corals from Aqua SD on eBay, they waited 2 weeks to tell me I was under the min threshold when they knew after creating the invoice, wanted to charge 20% restocking fee for cancellation.
