People using Aquaforest ICP test, How long are your tests stuck in customs? Ive mailed 2 samples so far. The first one takes more than month to be processed through customs and the second one is taking just as long. Ive sent it out on the 11th last month and as of now, its still stuck in customs. Im shipping it through regular airmail.

I wonder how reliable and relevant the results would be. The water sample is sat around for 1 month+ in a warehouse either in extreme hot or freezing temperatures, would definitely have some effect on the condition of the water. Assume there are no adverse affect of the water being stored for a month, how relevant the result would be to your tank a month from the sample taken? A lot could happen to your tank during the month the water took to reach Aquaforest, for better or worse, and cant determine of the results reflects the current tank condition.

Unless you hear differently from the company - 1. They may not be reliable - and 2. they will be meaningless when you get them back. Couldn't you use a company closer?

They are the only ones I know of I could buy locally. I will try ATI next time. They are a little bit more expensive but I can get them on amazon and it seems they have specific instructions to mail it in to Germany and clear customs faster.
