Depends on the orchid. The phals(the ones everyone has) should get water average of once a week, with mild lighting.

Then theres other types that love daily watering but will be fine with less.

Vodka is my go to really. But it’s kettle one. Love that stuff, so smooth! You gave your fish the good stuff! When I dosed I used cheap as I could buy. Hahaha
