Hi. Has anyone had a bad experience with Aquariumdepot.com? I ordered a medium sized portion of copepods from them only to get an order confirmation stating it would take them 3-10 business days for processing before shipment. I emailed them inquiring why shipping is taking so long and they/she responded with a bogus excuse about harvesting, etc... I even got an email stating my order status changed to shipped but when I go to the UPS app, UPS haven't even received the package. I totally feel tricked by this company and I'm spreading the word to beware of ordering from them... I'm going to wait it out a bit before I report to PayPal and BBB, since they have in writing that it will take 3-10 business days for processing, which I feel they need to tell everyone BEFORE anyone orders and not after someone submits payment.

I so regret ordering from this company, and I wish companies would just be more transparent about things like this. Please warn anyone who is considering ordering from Aquariumdepot.com. They also have gone by different company names like Alive2go.Inc, etc...

I don’t know them but have you tried calling them ? It’s much easier to deal with this type of situation directly on the phone.

They don’t provide a phone number. The only one I found was on PayPal after I initiated reporting them.

I've ordered from her a few times. She can be a little flakey but I've never had a issue unresolved. I stopped ordering when the prices increased substantially.

I’ll never order from her again. I just got a response from my email to her which is laughable. She’s literally waiting for the copepod population to increase before harvesting.. what a joke.

I hope you got your money back....I really do wish she could do well, but her business model and operations are simply TERRIBLE... there's no way she's going to compete with the other copepod providers. I keep getting more excuses from her via email... She keeps talking about the copepod stock and waiting for the population to grow before harvesting so I'm thinking, 'What, you have only a tiny little bucket of pods? How in the world are you going to meet demand?'... Geezus, I give up...

I finally gave up on her. I really wanted to try and help her business succeed but it just wasnt going to happen with her raising prices and other issues. I found a seller on Ebay that's cheaper and alot better quality and quantity.
