aquascape, macrorocks, eggcrate help!

hey everyone well im going to be putting together my first aquascape with egg crate and macro rock my question is do you guys have a preference on where to get my macro rock? also any experience drilling it? im going for a minimalistic look on the inside of my tank. so i need some help!

Sorry I have no personal experience with macro rock, but I'd suggest looking at the thread below. Lot of great advice and samples and maybe you'll pick up a hint or two. Just a suggestion.
