Hello! As I make my first post here, I am also patiently waiting for my new Waterbox 130.4 (48”x24”x22”) to arrive next month. Before I mortar my MarcoRocks aquascape, any thoughts, comments, or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Highest shelf is 12” high. Thanks!

Looks nice! Just make sure you keep at least 2" from each tank wall to allow flow and cleaning. When cementing together, maybe just make the "welds" small so you can break it apart later if you want to make changes down the road.

You also want to look at it from a flow point of view...will you be able to get flow to all areas of the rock formation? Solid rock walls crossing the tank from front to back can block flow on the opposite sides of the walls sometimes.

Love the layout, you planning on doing SPS? if so the it is very smart to leave the negative space above the rockwork. if there is a way to ad a little more curvature or a flow to the scape, it will help the aesthetics while your corals grow in. good work so far though! I bet you're really excited to get the build up and running! good luck!

I love everything except for the "square" bridge on the left. The right side looks very natural while the left looks man made if that makes sense. I think even if you were able to angle the bridge section slightly it would give it a different look. Just my opinion of course :)

Thank you so much for the advice! I moved things off the sides and opened things up for more flow.

I made some adjustments to allow for more flow. I can’t wait to get this thing going! Thanks for the feedback!

Looks good but you can always do floating rocks. Glue like a frag holder to the back wall and glue the rock on to it and smaller rocks to cover the plastic parts. Create better aesthetics and more hiding spots.

That is a great idea that I will definitely look into. Thanks!

Well, I took as much of everyone’s advice as I could and my scape has morphed to the point of barely being recognizable compared to the original. Haha. Here are pics of the revised design. Hopefully there aren’t too many more recommended changes, as I started to mortar. Thanks everyone!

That top rock on the left looks exactly like an Imperial Destroyer from Star Wars, lol.
