I've used this before with good results. Only issue is it is darker than the rock, so it stands out at first. Once it gets covered you don't even know it is there. I mounted it to ceramic tiles so that it has a good support. When you put substrate down, you can't see the tile. I used a masonry drill bit and fiberglass rods to hold it together while it cured, then I pulled them out.

I like to drill through the rock with a masonry bit and slide the rock over an 3/4 acrylic rod and then put some Aqua putty to join the pieces together for a strong bond between the rocks. Works great!

That's what I used and it worked awesome. The color should be in the fiberglass resin. Tho

Hydraulic cement from Lowes works really well (pretty much same stuff as the Emarco but 1/3 price. Mix too peanut butter consistency in small softball size batches, stuff hardens fast. Aged in distaled water and had no leaching issues. Color is dark, but alge and encrusting montis fix that quickly!!
