Hi has anyone order from AqauSD, looking to place an order for like 14 zaos. Anyone have experience with them?

OK i have a love and hate relationship with aquaSD.

I have not had any issues keeping stuff alive.. They are also located in the same state so it helps with very little stress in shiping. They package great... do everything they need, and i have had great customer support from them.

However i dont have any corals left alive that i bought from AquaSD after 3-4 months.
Its honestly probably my fault in why they died, but everything i bought is so fragile the moment u get lazy, expect it to die. 😭

And i even lost my Japanese Xmas tree, which was supposed to be a tank. This went 1 year.... i honestly again think its my fault... but it was a neon green Kenya tree... and those are supposed to be almost impossible to kill.

So again, i think its my fault for getting lazy, but honestly, its sad when everything i bought from them, nothing is left alive still in my tank.

I see what you mean, I have a full apex system with dosing and am like 90% fully automated. I’m just more worried abt them arriving super unhealthy and having them die in like a couple days or the corals not being exactly what I ordered. I live in LA and honestly thought abt making the drive but I think I rather just pay the shipping but I need to see what there quality is.

I have had only good experiences. Ive ordered from them a few times because during their sales. I have always gotten cheaper frags but many of them because of the sale. The frags are small, but they are also way cheaper than other sellers.

I have never had an issue keeping their frags alive and I live on the other side of the county that they ship from.

Nope. I will not buy from them again. With regard to shipping they used FedEx when I ordered so everything goes through the Milwaukee hub. If you live in a neighbooring state like Arizona your coral is still going to the Midwest, before you see it.
My order contained two DOA. Never any reimbursement from the company.

However I still have these beauties.

I hear the site is under new management, hopefully that helps.

I too have a love hate relationship with ASD. In short they’re not what they used to be.

I was buying a lot of acans over a 15 month period. They were shipping whatever, 50/50 your wysiwyg is what would actually arrive. Long term (9-12 months) their stuff would drop off while other acans continue along just fine. Conditioning was just plain poor as well. In other instances pics were unreasonably augmented. Finally, on one order they hand wrote ‘na - refunded’ but no credit was ever issued.

I want them to do well but they need to get their house in order.

As for zoas most of their branded offerings from other vendors are greatly over priced. They do get some nice wilds they chop up but then you gotta recognize those will have a lower success rate than something aquacultured.

Just wanted to add that I purchased some extra large zoa colonies from ASD (black Friday) for insane low prices and they came perfect- including a freebie. I dipped them, nothing jumped off and they opened in a few hours. Could not ask for more.
