Here's a couple of my latest aquatic inspired artworks...
A couple of pieces made from using acrylic paints on reclaimed pallet boards that are assembled and then cut out in the shape of the fish.

My first attempt included a bad dad joke... a pallet Palette Tang;

The second one was to pay homage to this summer's superstar; the [Quality Marine/LiveAquaria] Peppermint Angelfish!

I've done other pieces of fish inspired artwork with reclaimed wood, but these are the latest; and my favorites.

I love Nori's paintings! She's good and she's continually putting out amazing work. I just wish I could produce a painting as often she does though.

By the way.... do fish cookies count???;)

Ever sold these? I'd love to have one made!

I've started making some smaller pieces of the reclaimed "pallet" boards. Since these are smaller, the pallet boards are actually the rough sawn edge off of board stock that are glued into small panels and then cut out into the fish shapes.
My main goal for these smaller pieces is to practice on my skills and processes. They're not as detailed as the larger pieces, but I'm still trying to create a realistic looking piece.

This is the latest piece; the sixth one that I've made over the past few weeks.

The Conspicuous Angelfish; 8.5"W by 6"H.

Finally, another glass blowing reefer! Do you have an Instagram?
I've been blowing glass mostly for the scientific world for over 25 years I have more sculpture pieces unfinished, stored in my head, than I could count. Some day I'll get the time to make them real.
My IG is neoalchemist.

I'd love to learn scientific. That's great that you have got to do that professionally for so long! I've been at it for about 12 years now. Mostly as a side hustle to support my other hobbies. I am on IG but I almost never post there. I'm southpaw_glass I believe. Marble making has been my main thing for a lot of years but I'm really enjoying sculpting these octos right now
