Would the kessil mounting brackets that hang on the back of the tank the aluminum ones support the 36 inch aquatic life t5 fixture? Where my tank sits there isn’t a wall to mount the wall mounting bracket and I have a drop down ceiling in my office and it’s talked that 7. 5 feet.

I’m in need of mounting options for this fixture because I would like to add my two a360xs to this.

Don't own them but I think I can safely say the kessil mounts will not support the t5 fixture.. aquatic life makes a mount that attaches directly to your aquarium stand..

For what its worth those frames on your drop down ceiling will typically hold a good amount of weight and you could potentially add more supporting wires to the frame if necessary, Im no expert on this but may be worth exploring. You could also just make small holes in the tiles for your light fixtures hanging wires to pass through so you can attach them to something solid in the ceiling.

Not sure if you found a solution yet but this is what I did. I got the extension arms for the kessil light hanging system and then was able to fix the kessil light to the 24”aquatic life t5 I used the aquatic life kessil bracket drilled a small hole where the kessil rests and used longer skrews that then when through the bracket and into the lighting fixture. It's really strong.
