I had that one for my 20g. Skip it and go for their bigger system for $90. I recently installed one for my RSR 250 and it's been super easy to setup and use. Comes with a few extras such as an automatic shut off valve and float valve.

Some people seem to like them, but I'd go with a full size RODI like BRS or similar just so you're not stuck with proprietary filter cartridges.

Looks like you have a permanent setup. That would be great. Did you have to drill holes in your actual plumbing?

Its $90 vs $250. Is there any other ‘features’ the BRS ones have ?

I would personally only reccomend going with a system that uses the standard size filters. They can still be relatively affordable and it's easier and cheaper to replace filters.

Not to speak on someone else's behalf, but it seems as though they have have an adapter on the cold water side of their service valve on their tankless water heater and the drain line is just stuck down their laundry drain.

I use this one for my 13.5 Gallon Evo tank with no issues at all. Water is crystal clear and zero algae issues. If you have a smaller tank this is fine. Larger tank you may be going through the media quicker and it will take longer to produce water compared to the large ones.

I currently have one that fills a 29 gallon brute. They’re affordable and put out 0 TDS. You can change out di crystals yourself and parts for it are on Amazon. I have no complaints.

New reefers are always quick to do budget options for RODI, lighting, pumps ect but will slowly migrate to the higher cost options if they stay in the hobby. I started with an RO buddie and its fine but after upgrading I am greatful for the lower cost replacement filters and such.

I have a 75G tank, so will need about 15G a week. You think this will support it?

You are on point. I have spent quite some money in the past 4 months since I started . I am sure now the setup is pretty much complete the maintenance expense will be lower.

I replaced my to buddy about a month ago with a brs basic setup and an so happy. To refill my 5gal topoff takes 50min now rather than 2.5hrs. The to buddy also has a ton of waste water if that matters to you

4 stage BRS unit. I would even suggest getting a pressure gauge (to let you know when carbon/sediment filters are plugged) and a in-line TDS (to know when membrane and resin are going bad).

Brs basic setup is without a tds meter and pressure gauge. My incoming tds is 32 so the filters should let me a long time. The to buddy was still giving me 0 tds after a year of use. The biggest thing for my update was time. 1 gallon in 10min rather than 30. I did buy the 100 gpd
