Has anyone that owns the Aquaticlife 115 Skimmer had a problem with the pump? I went on vacation and when I came back the pump was 'stuck'. No dirt or grime just stuck. Is there a replacement alternative I can buy because when i came back from vacation I had a huge Cyano and GHA break out. I believe the algae blooms is related to the skimmer not skimming thus leaving excess nitrates in the water for the Algae to feed on.

Any help with the pump is appreciated!

(PS I hope I get more response here)

I had it stuck, but I just took it apart and washed it and everything is fine now.

Yea thats what I did but it was strange nothing was blocking the motor from spinning. Strange I know, but after I wiped it down it was ok.

I am wondering if the motor / pump is cheap and might give me more problems. I am hoping someone modified it and can say which pump they used so I can replace it. This has caused a lot of issue with water quality since the skimmer didn't work for two weeks.
