My only two concerns would be, that if it starts to move and you fill the tank up with other corals, and my bta has grown considerably.
Makes good sense. Still deciding on the direction the tank will tank, so I may even end up making the BTA the focus and just running Zoas and other softies to try and avoid that issue. Thanks!

1yr mark! Everything is going pretty good. Except my two sps pieces got attacked by my Puffer and blenny, ones still alive though. I cut my bounce mushroom in half, selling one soon. Yay!

Haven’t done an update in awhile, so here we go. Nothing really significant has happened, although I did cut my bounce mushroom into two. Corals have been doing good, unfortunately it looks like my pinkish Red flowerpot is almost dead due to bubble algae covering it multiple times (dipping it helped, but never fully prevented it). I’m currently dealing with gha and Cyano, although I’m using chemiclean at the moment. My plans for summer are to right away replace the skimmer (due to air stone, and cover missing) and add chemi pure elite and purigen. I then will be doing a water change every 2 weeks, and will test water parameters the week I'm not doing the water change. I’m hoping to order some more professional test kits before then. Once I get my tank back on track I plan to add a birds nest sps (other one got knocked over into octospawn for alittle, tried to save but eventually died off). And I’ll probably go to aquashella again this summer and hopefully pick up some nice pieces. Thanks for reading!

Big changes coming soon. I’m planning to get rid of all corals but my main wwc bounce, green flowerpot, and octospawn, then once I find a good home for my Puffer (due to me not being able to keep him once I move on to sps, part of big change, and I also feel once he grows more he’ll appreciate a bigger tank :) ),I will be moving my rock to the back of the tank and re scaping it for a more coral friendly area. Then I’ll start adding smaller frags to grow out.

Haven’t updated in awhile. So here we go..went to Aquashella this year again, got some corals, the ones that have made it are some designer palm tree coral (forgot real name), and a neon green flowerpot coral, and phytoplankton. I had to turn light for 24 hrs recently, which caused my anemone to split. I now have 4 wwc og bounces, many are growing quickly size/bubble wise. Algae isn’t bad, will do wc either today or tomorrow hopefully. Still not able to keep hard corals due to puffer. My blasto now has 3 or 4 heads (started with one) and my frogspawn (started with 3 heads) is up to 4 or 5. Hoping to sell my bounces and buy some new filtration media for Christmas time. Fish are doing great, female clown is growing fast. Although I haven’t been able to check parameters lately I hope to this Christmas time. Copepods population is doing good. Got rid of the 2nd fire worm finally (took months to see him again). I think that’s it for now, will update if I think of more.

It’s been awhile since the last update, I’ll make this one short as well. I have gotten rid of the fireworks, still have some bristle worms, but they are much smaller..still gross. My pufferfish unfortunately passed away a couple of month ago. I had a powerball bounce for a couple of months before it died. And also cyano and hair algae began to take over my tank. I lost motivation. Good news, I am regaining my interest in the hobby and have started to clean my tank and most of the Cyano and hair algae are gone. Just picked up a new coral today, a cyphastrea. FTS and new coral photo below.
