So I've been observing my fish for quite some time (as we all do). I noticed my Yellow Tang struggles to eat (aka line up to take a bite) his folded up Nori sheet in a clip when it's pointing a certain direction. What I've observed is my YT is right-fin dominant, meaning he has no troubles swimming up to the clip and eating when he comes at it with his right fin closet to the glass and just can't seem to figure it out as cleanly when the clip of Nori is pointing the other way. He still gets the food but there is a noticeable struggle to come at it.

It made me think, do our fish have a dominant side?

Let me know if you see similar behaviors and which side your fish seem to better with. Oh and what type of fish it is.

All my fish stay in the right end of the tank. When I add new fish they go there too and then they all start fighting.

If only they would go left.
