Will two 24" reefbrites be enough light for a frag tank that is 24x16x8? I want to keep sps, lps, and zoas. Otherwise I was going to light it with 4 24w t5s but the reefbrights will be a better fit in the space that I have. Thanks in advance.

Cool. That would simplify things a little. I don't know if the T5s would fit under my stand.

I believe they are 3w leds

I'm running 2 strips on my 20L frag tank. Its just about right. Yours will be 16" wide it could be a stretch. I'd say 1 strip covers around 6-7 in. coverage *Width*

Anyone know the life expectancy of these things?

Has anyone heard much about the Current USA Power Brite LED's? How many watts? Do they compare to the Reef Brites and Ecoxotic Stunners as far as accent illumination?

Any updates? How are those Reefbrites over your Frag rank doing? How high over the water do you have these mounted?

I ended up going with a diy kit from reef led. After weighing the price and options I thought the diy kit was the way to go. I put it together a while ago but have been distracted by pretty much everything else and still haven't set up the frag tank yet. Seeing this now i realize how long I've been putting it off, I think I'll work on it this weekend. Thanks for the reminder1smile1

i have a 15" one on my refugium.i dont think its enough i think i need another.
i think you would need 3 depending on how high you mounted them
