I'm looking at buying a 120g tank again. Loved my old 48x24x24. I've heard horror stories about bulk heads leaking etc. Any recommendations? Are tank brands really a thing? I'm literally starting from scratch. As mentioned, long ago I had a complete system. Just want to build a good one and it starts with the tank. Thanks!

Yes tank brands are very common you have low end / budget options like aqua one
Mid - high with Red Sea waterbox and cade
High end with custom eg reef savy

each have their own pros and cons and at the end of the day it comes down to where your putting the tank, what is important to you and budget.
personally I’d reccomend one of the mid- high options since they have the most people using them to learn from are high quality (excluding the Red Sea fanks that failed which is supposed to be fixed now) and are reasonably priced for what you get

brs has a YouTube channel which is great for learning quickly here is a video on tanks that might interest you
