Are there better media reactors out there?

I am currently running a BRS media reactor in my build. It works, but I feel like there has to be a better design out there! My main complaint, I want the unit to either sit on the floor of my stand, or sit on the floor of my sump. I do not want to have to mount the reactor to a stand/wall. I like the idea of the nyos torq reactors, but i have yet to find a single happy customer with the product so that is off the table.

I will give them a look! He has a good reputation!
I have a couple of the BRS ones and i understand your comment of how to mount them, but they work perfect. I also have some different types of geos and they work great. I like the flexibility of different geo reactor to work better with carbon and then a different one for gfo.

You don't have to mount the BRS reactors, they can sit in your sump.

+1 on Geo. I have dual Geo reactors. Lots of choices for sizes.

Yes, but the bottom is not flat so it tips over, and they take up a lot of room. I am just looking for something better for my current setup!

I am running an Ehiem. Not suppose to run a canister on a reef tank I know. I maintain sponge and pad every 10 days. I will get tired of it but most efficient atm.

Avast marine spyglass reactors never clog. Different design than most other reactors which slowly clog up and the inflow needs to be increased until the media is changed, and then it starts over.

Check out the aquamaxx sigma reactors. They sound exactly like what you want
