Looks like it is probably diatoms. If it is, within few days to a week you should see more, including on the sandbed. The tank looks fairly new and it's almost a guarantee that diatoms will show up in new tanks at some point.

Update on what the tank cycling is looking like and the diatoms. Does this look like the diatoms are going good?
