Hope everyone had a good holiday so far. Need some help on the ID of flukes.

Some background info:
I do not QT my fishes.
Bought a golden angel 2 weeks back, however my resident lemonpeel angel does like the new angel and viciously attacks it.
Managed to trap the lemonpeel and place it in an isolation box.
As I was also adding a new refugium to my tank, with free chaeto from my LFS, my lemonpeel went into the refugium.

After 2 weeks, the lemonpeel looked sluggish, had ick like spots and was flashing. It also it have a bad lesion at the side where the red flesh was exposed.

So on Monday, 23/12, i set quickly set up a 5 gal QT with HOB filter with the following medication:
Copper power 1.5ppm with Hanna checker (Plan is to increase slowly to 2.0ppm)
Seachem Kanaplex - one spoon full

Was doing a water change just now and noticed some transparent flakes at the bottom of the QT tank.

Question: My understanding is the copper power does nothing to flukes, so are these flukes or just scales of the fish??
I have API GC and prazipro on hand, but as the fish is weak and not eating, i am not sure of adding more medication in the QT tank.

Anyone had any suggestion what should i do next?

Cheers
Ming

Flukes are usually white-ish to opaque looking after dropping off from treatment.

Would the copper have killed the flukes on the fish?
Assuming that the the flakes are indeed dead flukes...

No copper does not kill flukes.

If you want to confirm for sure you can administer a fresh water dip.

In a dark 5 gallon bucket/container add an airstone and heater and dip the fish for 5min.

It is stressful on the fish so you can treat with prazi for flukes if the lemon peel is too weak for the dip.

Going off the ledge: Would you be interested in a drop off aquarium?
